Hiring Location(s): Toronto
This position requires you to use a wide range of skills as you work on all phases of the ASIC flow from architecture, design, verification, and physical implementation to post silicon validation.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop micro architecture , design, implement, debug, verify, and productize ASICs, FPGAs and IP blocks
- Work with our external customers and/or internal designers to integrate our IP Cores
- Mentor junior team members
- Present product features and benefits to customers in order to solve their design needs
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience writing detailed specifications, RTL Design & Coding, Verification & Validation
- Self-motivated with effective communication skills and a strong teamwork approach
- 5+ years previous experience working on large digital SoCs with many hierarchical layout macros is preferred
- 5+ years experience using Verilog/System Verilog
- 5+ years knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design flow
- 5+ years digital design, logic synthesis and coverage analysis, experience with back end support
- 5+ years RTL, Verilog, System Verilog
- 5+ years verification skills - a working knowledge of UVM is a plus
- 5+ years working knowledge of scripting
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Desired Skills:
- Programming skills and scripting (C/C++, Python, Perl, Tcl, Csh)
- Knowledge in one or more of the following would be a plus:
- computer and peripheral architectures
- Networking and processor protocols – Ethernet, PCIe, Interlaken, USB, DDR, security (MACSec, IPSec, Hashing)
- Applications : Communications Infrastructure Networking, High Performance Computing, Video processing, Deep Learning Acceleration, Automotive Ethernet, 5G Infrastructure Backhaul
- Knowledge of ARM eco-systems, Deep Learning Frameworks
