Hiring Location(s): Ottawa

This position requires you to use a wide range of skills as you work on all phases of the ASIC flow from architecture, design, verification, and physical implementation to post silicon validation.

Responsibilities include:

• Architect, design, implement, debug, verify, and productize ASICs, FPGAs and IP blocks

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience writing detailed specifications, RTL Design & Coding, Verification & Validation
• Experience using Verilog/System Verilog
• Knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design flow
• Digital design, logic synthesis and coverage analysis
• Self-motivated with effective communication skills and a strong teamwork approach
• Previous experience working on large digital SoCs with many hierarchical layout macros is preferred
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Desired Skills:

• Programming skills and scripting (C/C++, Python, Perl, Tcl, Csh)
• Knowledge in one or more of the following would be a plus:
• computer and peripheral architectures
• video processing
• deep learning
• networking and processor protocols – Ethernet, PCIe, Interlaken, SATA, USB, DDR, security
• Verification skills - a working knowledge of UVM
